The X Factor is over for another year, which means sadly, so are our evenings of swooning over all the designer labels and enviable outfits that walked the X Factor ”runway” every weekend. We’ve been hooked on the style war between judges Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos, and have waited excitedly every week to see what the stylish contestants would be wearing for their performances. Our girls Kelly and Tulisa have been battling it out week after week for the title of the X Factor style queen, and we’ve loved their live show wardrobes.
During the show, Kelly wore designer brands such as: Julien Macdonald and Jenny Packham(thanks to stylist Joel Dash) and has showed us her fearless attitude, dressing in bold trends such as: the ”androgynous look” she rocked during week six in the form of a Stella McCartney trouser suit. Tulisa, however, has stuck to much simpler outfits, mixing designer with high street. In a recent interview with Glamour magazineTulisa said: “I like vintage. I wear high-street. I mix it up. I like the shock factor of a £60 pair of shoes and a £500 dress…”

Kelly Rowland absolutely killed it in her latest editorial for Stylist magazine, the 30-year-old stunning superstar is currently in the UK working as an X Factor judge alongside promoting her new single ”Lay it on me”. Talking to Stylist magazine Kelly says: ”I love getting older. The grey hair bit I’m still getting used to – and the gravity [laughs]. But other than that, I love it. Things just start to click. Thursday night saw the annual Cosmopolitan (or as they’re fondly known ‘Cosmo’) Awards take place in London. The publication never fails to disappoint in the cover stakes and does a lot to recognise the ‘real woman’ , as this award ceremony showed with both celebrities and real life heros being recognised. And with any red carpet affair the ladies of the industry had another excuse to delve into their dressing up boxes and pull out some fabulous looks.
