Kanye West is one of those dapper men that only comes along every so often. Suave, sophisticated (sartorially) and with a menswear closet that I personally would raid, Kanye has established himself as one of the most stylish men in the biz. What we love most about Kanye is that he’s stayed true to his original gentleman-street style from the very start, mixing both urban and high fashion successfully. One day we may see Kanye rocking exclusive Nike high tops, the next he’s wearing one-off custom made Wooten and Stubbs suede moccasins. And that’s the art of having the spectacular swagger that Kanye has, having the ability to wear practically anything while retaining the attitude and unique style to go with it.
We also love (and this is probably the thing that draws us most to Kanye) that he never gives away too much 1. We hardly EVER see him smiling, so don’t ever know what he’s really thinking and 2. He doesn’t do interviews at all (well since late 2010) which only keeps us wanting to know more with Kanye. And that goes for his style too, Kanye is never scared to try out new things, only last year did we still him wearing a leather kilt during his Watch the Throne Tour with Jay Z!
As Kanye would put it, his ”swagger’s on a hundred thousand trillion”, and to an extent yes, Kanye, we agree. Take a look inside Kanye’s wardrobe below.
Trendsetters Kanye West and Chris Brown were spotted over the Christmas weekend both (bravely) rocking double denim. Kanye was spotted looking classic wearing a Balmain denim shirt, black jeans and Nike Air Yeezy 2 high tops whereas Chris opted for a more vintage-inspired look wearing a jeans jacket with an aztec-printed hoodie inside, a vintage trucker hat and Jordans. Both guys look relatively well put together but we want to know your views- vote in our poll below who’s look are you feeling more …
An hour or so ago, Kanye West became rapper-turned-designer after debuting his new ”Dw” collection (named after his late mother Donda West) during Paris Fashion Week. As we are all aware, Kanye’s ”swagger is on a hundred trillion thousand” and his taste in fashion has led him to become one of the best-dressed men in the music biz which was emulated on the runway this evening with the likes of Ciara, Anna Wintour, Lindsay Lohan, The Olsen twins, Alexander Wang, Carine Roitfeld and designer Jeremy Scott sitting front row at the show ….
