Earlier today, WWD reported that Kanye West will debut a self-entitled collection during Paris Fashion Week this season (not to be confused with the Dw collection he showcased last season). A spokesperson from Kanye’s recently recruited PR agency Karla Otto, confirmed to WWD today that Kanye will show on March 6 at 9.30pm (strictly speaking not within the official PFW schedule but just after it).

An hour or so ago, Kanye West became rapper-turned-designer after debuting his new ”Dw” collection (named after his late mother Donda West) during Paris Fashion Week. As we are all aware, Kanye’s ”swagger is on a hundred trillion thousand” and his taste in fashion has led him to become one of the best-dressed men in the music biz which was emulated on the runway this evening with the likes of Ciara, Anna Wintour, Lindsay Lohan, The Olsen twins, Alexander Wang, Carine Roitfeld and designer Jeremy Scott sitting front row at the show ….

So if the anticipation leading up to the debut of Kanye West’s new womenswear collection on October 1st wasn’t enough, more details have emerged about it with reports of Central Saint Martin students making it in a derelict London nightclub.

So the news has finally dropped Mr West will debut his new collection at Paris Fashion Week on October 1st and not during New York fashion week as everyone first suspected.
