Celebs go head-to-head in THE Versace for H&M bomber
The Versace for H&M collection sold out in a couple of hours last week when it hit H&M stores across the country as fashion lovers rushed to grab the discounted and specially designed designer wear. But one menswear item in particular seems to have stood out distinctly to the hip hop community and that’s the £120 multi-coloured leopard print bomber (worn by X Factor contestant Misha B above). Fierce, Misha B rocked the menswear bomber with Topshop ”Possess” studded ankle booties (£150) and shiny latex panelled leggings while performing on the X Factor. And like Misha if we had got our hands on the jacket before it sold out (we’re sure it would have sold out a lot quicker if it was labelled unisex and not mens!) we’s have worn it similarly- with leather trousers (possibly high-waisted), statement ankle booties and a fierce clutch.
Across the pond, members of the hip hop community have too taken a liking to this statement piece. Rapper-turned-designer Kanye West, producer and husband of Alicia Keys, Swizz Beats and singer Chris Brown have all been seen wearing the jacket which is probably why it’s now selling on Ebay for $800. However, this only confirms that the collection is still in demand which is probably why Donatella and her team have seized the opportunity to design a second collection for H&M lunching on January 19th, the Daily Mirror reports that the spring/summer line will feature softer pastel colors, strappy sandals and gold jewellery-excited to see how that’ll turn out!
The £120 jacket selling for $800 (£650) on Ebay. CRAY!
Kanye wore it first, performing at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show earlier this month. The never-scared trendsetter rocked his with his favourite leather trousers.
Swizz Beats matches his with a Versace x H&M silk scarf worn as a headband but keeps it classic in black jeans and Reebok high tops
The sartorially daring Christopher Brown rocking his with bright Cyan blue Chinos, a buttoned up black shirt and creepers
