A month into 2012 and Rihanna has already racked up an array of shall we say intéressant outfits, ranging from black thongs on beaches in Hawaii to hoodies and jeans in LA. Rihanna being the dangerously fierce female she is means that she wears exactly what she wants, exactly when she wants and lately we’ve noticed a change in her style by adopting a more laid back, casual and relaxed look (see pics below). Last week we saw Rihanna’s latest (and permanent) accessory- the words ”Thug life” tattooed on her knuckles in pink ink (why not?!). Check out some of Rihanna’s most interesting outfits of the year thus far… (more…)

Olivia Palermo is our ultimate style crush who never puts a high-heeled foot wrong when it comes to fashion. Olivia has become famous for her super-stylish wardrobe and her high-profile has been created by her impeccable taste in fashion which has gained her modelling contracts with the likes of Mango and Tibi, column inches as a guest blogger at Vogue.com and an appearance as a guest judge on Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model. We adore Olivia’s style because she always looks polished, classy and feminine. She knows exactly how to mix high fashion with high street fashion- such a panache that we can’t help but be super envious of. Olivia has previously named Erdem and Charlotte Olympia as her favourite designers, however she’s also an avid fan of the British high-street, including our favourite high street store Topshop.
The Olsen twins definitely make it onto the ANUNAROSE list of most-inspiring young fashion icons. At just 25, the twins are acknowledged as fashion entrepreneurs for their labels: The Row, Elizabeth and James, Olsenboye and T-shirt website Style Mint. Last year their most sophisticated label, The Row received a CFDA Award nomination for Best Womenswear, the twins also beat Solange and Beyonce Knowles to win the ”Most stylish sisters” award from Vogue back in November. Mark Holgate, Fashion News Editor at Vogue, told us in the November issue just why the Olsen’s style is so adored: “They get it right a lot of the time and then sometimes they don’t get it right. That’s actually great because it shows that it’s their hands reaching into their wardrobes.” As the sisters have matured, they have developed their individual styles. Mary-Kate was declared a fashion icon by the New York Times for pioneering her signature quirky, bohemian look while Ashley’s look has evolved with her now favouring tailored, sophisticated pieces. In an interview with Style.com in May 2011, the twins revealed that their famous ‘boho-chic’ label stemmed from a desire to avoid the paparazzi. Ashley said: “That moment for us was us waking up, going to school, and not wanting anyone to take our picture. Kind of a piece of protection.”
Rihanna’s style is without a doubt our definition of fabulous, fearless and fierce! We love how she has transformed from a girly, innocent teen pop-star to the confident, fashion-forward female she is today. Her ever-changing hairstyles and versatility when it comes to fashion makes her one of the music industry’s ultimate style icons. Rihanna’s signature style is edgy, brimming with confidence and exuding sexiness. We think Rihanna is inspiring (sartorially speaking) as she experiments with so many different styles, one day flaunting her curves in a bralet and teeny hot-pants and the next dressing down in jeans and a tee- we are seriously envious of her ability to look good in any outfit!
Her eye-catching wardrobe has definitely paid off, with the star gracing the cover of Vogue, Marie Claire and other major fashion magazines as well as being given the opportunity to design a capsule collection for fashion powerhouse Armani. Here, we take a look at some of the WOW outfits that catapulted Rihanna onto our ‘Best Dressed’ list and that triggered many fashion crushes around the world.
